Yo, I completely agree with his statements about "real hip hop", I think it's corny & played out. I Think that if you make great music, you don't have to worry about whether it's real or fake hip hop. Most of my comrades are older heads, guys who grew up in that era where I think the best hip hop was being made; the 90s. I think that era is over, though, and those who make stale, corny music that girls don't like (I like to call it "dry vagina music") need to just quit. Don't get me wrong, I do think a lot of the radio is corny, but I think those other nerdy guys who do their best imitation of Big Pun & Nas, etc, are even cornier. Even those guys had music for the clubs. I'm probably ranting, but, yeah. Canibus is "real hip hop" and look what he did. LL is a "sell out" and look how he's been able to provide for his family, get girls, and still leave a good legacy. Turn that dry vagina music off, B. Peace!
